Our preliminary task

Filming

Filming was a bit hard, we kept laughing during the shots because we were not used to being filmed. Laura and I tried to concentrate when rehearsing what to say and it was okay at times but then when we were being filmed we would look at each other and it wouldn't go down as well. It took us some time but finally we got the shots we needed, however when reviewing the shots we would sometimes see Jessicas hands or Ashleighs elbow so I guess there were many problems that occured during the shot, maybe next time we'll do better and act a bit professional. No promises though...

Talk of Preliminary Task.

This is our group talking about out preliminary task, we had a group discussion and talked about different ideas we could use for the task. There was a lot of debate of what we should do as we had many ideas, some were very original which consequently lead to the idea being to complicated to act out. We wanted to keep it simple and add the following

• 180 degree rule
• a shot reverse shot
• Match on action

So we had decided on someone walking in and starting a conversation with someone else who has an issue. We did not want the weather to be the problem so we kept it indoors, we also wanted to make sure the audience could hear the conversation so we decided we would go to a isolated room to film the task.
